Also, in honor of Aplastic Anemia Awareness Week, I have been in contact with a few publishers and am looking into our options for publishing our story.  

I must say that I have personally struggled with whether this is “Naomi’s story” or “Our story.”  After careful consideration, and taking into account her future, I have decided that it is in fact Our Story.  The Pride of Naomi extends beyond her to include her immediate family, friends, and others who we have met and will continue to meet as a result of her diagnosis and treatment.  Her story has unfolded as a story that needs to be shared with others.
